Wow, I have not posted in a long long time. I have been way too busy thanks to the holidays and then getting pregnant with baby #2 (it's a girl)!

I'll probably be closing this blog before too long... I'm just not keeping up with it much. If I open a new blog I'll let you all know!

GREAT NEWS! :)

OUR HOUSE HAS SOLD!!! No more mortgage payments on top of all our GA bills and no more worry! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :D

I can now say quite honestly that I am happy here in GA. I still miss my family and friends in Utah, I miss my mountains, and I just miss the "West," but the Lord knew what He was doing when He sent us to our new home. I have made so many awesome friends, there are so many fun things to do here as a family, I have discovered a lot of things about myself, and NATURE is always waiting just outside our apartment building!

Speaking of Nature, I took my boy out for a walk on the Greenway before his nap. The woods were calling to me and I couldn't say no, and I'm so glad I listened! I met a very sweet woman from Germany, and I saw the most beautiful hawk! I wish I had had a camera or something... I'm thinking about getting a Georgia Birdwatching book tonight; we see so much wildlife every day and it bugs me when I don't know what something is. :P
I said a little prayer thanking God for the gift of being so close to all the beauty and life He has created, and for making me so good at spotting some of it (even when I forget my glasses like today). <3

Happy Halloween!

The good/bad day...

So yesterday had it's ups and downs:
The good: Graydon and I went to the aquarium with my friend Marchet and her son Peter. We had a really good time and it was fun to get away from home and go "out on the town" with a friend. Marchet took lots of pictures with her awesome camera, so I'll be posting those soon. :)
The bad: Got home feeling beat-up and kind of sick. Then we found out that the sale of our house fell through AGAIN (lets hope the back-up offer comes through)! Then the monitor on our eMac died. So thats it for our short ownership of a Macintosh. It would cost too much to fix it. :(

I'm hoping today will be a better day!

These are some of our family photos taken a week ago by my good friend Marchet Butler. They were all taken on the Greenway right behind our apartment complex!!! It's so awesome out there, and I love how the pictures came out. I LOVE TREES!

Isn't Graydon the cutest!? He loves leaves. Loves to touch them and crunch them and eat them if I let him. lol

Internet access at last!

I live! We finally have internet at home.
So, GA is beautiful right now. Wonderful Fall weather, so many trees, and my mom and dad are visiting for a week. We went to the GA Aquarium (largest in the world), and had a blast! Graydon is getting SO BIG; he's walking really well, climbing, and trying to talk more and more.
I love our ward here. Awesome people; they really saved me from falling into depression when I first got here. I've made a lot of new friends and I know my way around town pretty well now too. Did I mention all the beautiful TREES!? I am in my element! :D

Can't think of anything new other than that splurge above... I'll be posting pictures soon. Comment with questions if I missed filling you in on anything you wanted to know. :)

Alive in Georgia

I thought I better make a quick update while I am here at the library since I am sure everyone is wondering about us. We still don't have internet at the apartment. :(
We are all healthy and happy, and GA isn't so bad. I LOVE our ward, and I love all the trees. Graydon is doing well and keeping me busy, as is the unpacking. Jonny is working hard and we are all SO happy to be together again. The flight was stressful but ok. Graydon slept through most of the adventure; I did not...

More to come later. Graydon is letting me know it's time to go home and have lunch!
