Happy Halloween!

The good/bad day...

So yesterday had it's ups and downs:
The good: Graydon and I went to the aquarium with my friend Marchet and her son Peter. We had a really good time and it was fun to get away from home and go "out on the town" with a friend. Marchet took lots of pictures with her awesome camera, so I'll be posting those soon. :)
The bad: Got home feeling beat-up and kind of sick. Then we found out that the sale of our house fell through AGAIN (lets hope the back-up offer comes through)! Then the monitor on our eMac died. So thats it for our short ownership of a Macintosh. It would cost too much to fix it. :(

I'm hoping today will be a better day!

These are some of our family photos taken a week ago by my good friend Marchet Butler. They were all taken on the Greenway right behind our apartment complex!!! It's so awesome out there, and I love how the pictures came out. I LOVE TREES!

Isn't Graydon the cutest!? He loves leaves. Loves to touch them and crunch them and eat them if I let him. lol

Internet access at last!

I live! We finally have internet at home.
So, GA is beautiful right now. Wonderful Fall weather, so many trees, and my mom and dad are visiting for a week. We went to the GA Aquarium (largest in the world), and had a blast! Graydon is getting SO BIG; he's walking really well, climbing, and trying to talk more and more.
I love our ward here. Awesome people; they really saved me from falling into depression when I first got here. I've made a lot of new friends and I know my way around town pretty well now too. Did I mention all the beautiful TREES!? I am in my element! :D

Can't think of anything new other than that splurge above... I'll be posting pictures soon. Comment with questions if I missed filling you in on anything you wanted to know. :)

Alive in Georgia

I thought I better make a quick update while I am here at the library since I am sure everyone is wondering about us. We still don't have internet at the apartment. :(
We are all healthy and happy, and GA isn't so bad. I LOVE our ward, and I love all the trees. Graydon is doing well and keeping me busy, as is the unpacking. Jonny is working hard and we are all SO happy to be together again. The flight was stressful but ok. Graydon slept through most of the adventure; I did not...

More to come later. Graydon is letting me know it's time to go home and have lunch!

Happy Birthday Graydon! ...and goodbye Utah.

First off, HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY to my beautiful son Graydon! I am so amazed by and thankful for his joyful sweet spirit; he gets me through the rough times. :)

...Rough times like this. Tomorrow night we fly to Georgia. I can't wait to be with Jonny again, but I am having a really REALLY hard time with leaving my home and family and friends here in Utah. I'll miss you all so much; please keep in touch! Pray for us... And pray that Graydon handles the flight well! o_o

My sister-in-law took these birthday photos of Graydon for me (he will be 1 year old tomorrow). I cropped some of them, and I added the blue to his eyes in the first B&W picture with PhotoShop. :)
